No automatic 40-year warranty is assigned to every Maxeon panel or old SPR-MAX3 catalog listing. Module external devices/accessories are excluded from the captured PV-module warranty scope.

Current successor SunPower installation/workmanship promises do not become Maxeon panel warranties or vice versa.

Legacy SunPower limited-panel eligibility is a separate route with historic installation/registration boundaries; Maxeon and SunPower remain distinct catalog aliases.

Official Maxeon Solar Technologies site supplies Maxeon panel, support and technical documents. Exact catalog label Maxeon is reviewed independently of current SunPower Inc., Legacy SunPower Corporation and installation/service companies.

Warranty handling and support

Rev G, effective May 1, 2026, applies to listed model patterns sold after that date and installed in US, Canada or Puerto Rico. Longer terms require authorized installation and digital registration within six months of warranty start; different terms otherwise. Start is earlier of interconnection or six months after delivery, with manufacturing-date fallback. Exact SPR-MAX3 suffix/sale eligibility is not assumed.

Legacy sunpower boundary

Official Maxeon page limits its legacy SunPower panel route to installation before August 5, 2024 and self-registration before December 31, 2024. This is separate from the captured May 2026 Maxeon document; no whole-system takeover or current SunPower successor promise is inferred.
