The places and photographers behind our state-guide imagery.
Photographs are served locally as resized WebP images. Creative Commons versions retain the same license linked for that photograph. NPS image credits include the notice: No claim to original U.S. Government works.
Geographic shapes use U.S. Census Bureau 2017 cartographic boundaries redistributed by us-atlas. Individual outlines are fitted to their own frames; Alaska and Hawaii use the source projection’s insets. The panel-cell pattern is decorative, not a solar-resource or survey map.
Census geography is public-domain material. The us-atlas redistribution uses the ISC license; the original license notice is included with our map assets.
